Scoreboard Dimensions: Metric and Imperial Quote Checklist for Buyers
A dimension is useful only when its unit, orientation and equipment scope are clear. This guide helps buyers translate the published size of a scoreboard or timer into a venue and freight discussion without treating an approximate conversion as a final drawing, package size or installation instruction.
Keep the measurement type in the request. A display face, cabinet size, front-size variant and package size are not interchangeable. Record the published label exactly as it appears on the selected product page, then add the unit and whether the figure applies to one display, a pair or an accessory.
Use a repeatable conversion only for preliminary comparison: 1 inch equals 2.54 cm, 1 foot equals 30.48 cm and 1 cm equals 10 mm. Round the converted value sensibly and retain the original published unit beside it. A conversion helps a buyer compare a doorway or planned wall area; it does not replace the supplier's confirmed dimensions for the selected configuration.
Read all three axes when depth affects the venue. The JX LED Timer Scoreboard with Remote is listed at 41 x 27 x 6.5 cm, while the YS APP Controlled Portable LED Scoreboard is listed at 660 x 400 x 50 mm. State which side will face the court and leave the dimensions in their published order when sharing a sketch, rather than relabelling them as width, height or depth without confirmation.
Separate a partial reference from a complete cabinet measurement. The Indoor Tabletop LED Scoreboard lists 16 H x 24 W x 10 D and an approximately 40.5 x 62 cm front-size variant. The metric figure describes the published front-size reference, so a buyer needing a rack, case or wall clearance should request the confirmed overall dimensions for the selected model and accessories.
Do not multiply a single display by two without identifying the product scope. The YS 24s LED Shot Clock Pair lists each single display at 69.5 x 58 x 7 cm and describes the package as two single-face countdown timers with a controller. Use the per-display dimensions for court-end layout, then ask for the pair's actual packing information separately if it is needed for freight or receiving planning.
Keep weight and support decisions next to the size record. The YS APP Controlled Portable LED Scoreboard lists an approximate 7 kg weight, while the YS 24s shot-clock listing states an approximate 21 kg single-set weight and offers fixed-pole or tripod stand options. Those published facts help frame a quote request, but venue support, lifting and installation decisions need confirmation for the exact purchased package.
Send a dimension-ready inquiry with the model, quantity, original published size, any working metric or imperial conversion, intended orientation, available wall or storage space, support preference, destination and requested accessories. Ask RYK to confirm the selected configuration's dimensions, included items and any needed package details before releasing venue work or freight planning.
