LED Scoreboard Demo Video Checklist: What to Verify Before You Request a Quote
A product photo can show a cabinet, but it cannot by itself confirm the selected model's operating workflow or the exact package a buyer intends to quote. This checklist helps purchasers ask focused questions about a demonstration video without treating a video as a substitute for written model, configuration and package confirmation.
Name the exact model before asking for a video. Put the product-page model, proposed quantity and intended use at the top of the inquiry. A demonstration of a different scoreboard or timer may be useful for general orientation, but it does not establish the configuration, dimensions or supplied items of the model being quoted.
Ask to identify the display and its visible fields at the beginning of any relevant demonstration. For example, the Indoor Tabletop LED Scoreboard lists score, game time, period, fouls, possession and bonus indicators, while the YS APP Controlled Portable LED Scoreboard lists custom team names, score, ball rights, countdown timer, 24s and AD display. Request only the fields needed for the planned use, and do not transfer one model's listed functions to another model.
Match the requested control demonstration to the selected product. The Indoor Tabletop LED Scoreboard lists a wireless remote, the SK3048 lists a wireless remote and a 100 ft. data cable, the Wireless Basketball Shot Clock Pair includes a controller, and the YS APP Controlled Portable LED Scoreboard lists APP control. State which published control path the buyer needs to review instead of requesting a generic remote or app demonstration for every model.
Keep a demonstration of a display pair distinct from a single main board. The Wireless Basketball Shot Clock Pair is listed as two displays with a controller, while the SK3048 is a separate multisport scoreboard. If the project needs both, list the main board and the court-end timing pair separately and ask for model-specific confirmation of any requested integration.
Use the video request to clarify package scope, not to infer it. The SK3048's wheeled stand is optional, and the Indoor Tabletop LED Scoreboard lists its wheeled stand and carrying bag as separately available. Put each requested accessory on the quote line and ask RYK to confirm in writing whether it is included or separately quoted for the selected configuration.
Record any questions that remain after viewing the material. A video does not replace written confirmation of the model, quantity, power version, control method, accessories, destination or compatibility. For a shot-clock project, provide the main scoreboard model and court layout, then ask RYK to confirm the proposed configuration rather than treating a similar video setup as a compatibility guarantee.
Send one concise request: exact model and quantity; the display fields and timing functions to review; the preferred control method; whether a single board, shot-clock pair or both are needed; each stand, bag or controller request; venue or court context; destination; and a request for an itemized written quote. This gives the supplier a factual brief and gives the buyer a record for comparing the selected configuration before ordering.
