Portable Scoreboard Product Line Guide: Score-Only, Timer or Multi-Function
A portable-scoreboard range is easier to explain and quote when every model has a distinct job. This guide helps distributors and sports-equipment buyers separate simple two-team scoring, score-plus-timer operation, multi-function court timing and app-controlled game information using the functions published for current RYK models.
Start with the buyer's minimum information requirement, not a general request for a portable scoreboard. Separate a basic Home / Guest score display from a display that must also show game time, countdown or match-time information. This creates clear product roles and avoids presenting a timer function as part of a score-only model.
Use the JX Portable Indoor LED Scoreboard as the simple-score reference. Its published Home / Guest LED score display, 22 x 11.5 x 3.5 cm aluminum-alloy body and approximately 0.6 kg weight suit a compact indoor option. Its product data does not list a timer or remote, so include either requirement only when the selected model explicitly supports it.
Move to the JX LED Timer Scoreboard with Remote when the court needs score and time in the same portable unit. It lists Home / Guest scoring, an LED timer, remote control and a 41 x 27 x 6.5 cm PE backboard-style format. Record the sport, scorekeeper position and required timer workflow so a buyer can confirm that this middle option fits the intended court use.
Use the JX Multi-Function LED Scoreboard only when the request specifically needs the functions it publishes: score display, countdown and match time. It also lists remote control and a 55 x 41 x 29 cm portable PE cabinet. A countdown or match-time requirement should appear on the inquiry line rather than being assumed from the portable form factor alone.
Keep app control and expanded basketball-style information as a separate, higher-function configuration. The YS APP Controlled Portable LED Scoreboard lists APP control, custom team names, score, ball rights, countdown timer, 24s and AD display in a 660 x 400 x 50 mm, approximately 7 kg cabinet. It should be quoted by the required functions, not simply treated as a larger version of a basic JX scoreboard.
Make each product line item factual and easy to compare: exact model, published display fields, stated control method, cabinet size or weight where relevant, expected court use, quantity, destination and the requested power arrangement. Keep listed and unlisted functions separate, especially when preparing product descriptions or quotations for resale.
Before placing a mixed-model order, ask RYK to confirm the selected configuration and package contents for every SKU. State whether the buyer needs a score-only board, score plus timer, countdown and match time, or APP-controlled team-name and 24-second information; then add any specific control, power or accessory request on its own line.
